AT THE CIRCUIT

We have some practical tips to ensure you don't have any worries or concerns during the race weekend and can focus on what's happening on the track.

FOOD AND DRINK

The Mexican F1 circuit boasts a wide range of culinary delights that surpass many others in the world in terms of variety and affordability. Choose from dozens of tempting options, from succulent seafood to crispy churros, indulgent doughnuts, spicy tacos, delicious pizzas and prime cuts of meat.

Alcohol is also available for purchase, including hard liquor.

Please remember that you are not allowed to bring your own food on the circuit.

Citibanamex Cashless
To simplify transactions, the Citibanamex Cashless system reigns supreme at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez for food and beverage purchases. Simply load this rechargeable card with money via bank card or cash and you can enjoy every moment in the culinary paradise of the circuit.

COMMUNICATIONS

Before you head out to the circuit, make sure you have all the information you need saved on your phone; from tickets to maps and information about your favourite driver. There is a risk that the mobile networks may be overloaded at the circuit and you may not have a data connection, especially on Sundays.

So, you may not be able to call your friends. If you want to meet anyone on Sunday, always arrange a time and place to meet beforehand, just like in the old days when there were no mobile phones.

NOISE
Don't forget that motorsport is very noisy. While the noise is tolerable in the normal stands, make sure you wear earplugs if you're closer to the track. If you're travelling with children, make sure they have ear protectors.

WEATHER
The Mexican Grand Prix is usually held at the end of October, which is also the case in 2024. At that time the weather in Mexico City is usually pleasant with mild temperatures. Average high temperatures at this time of year are around 22-24 °C, while average low temperatures are between 10-12 °C.

During the day it is usually sunny with clear skies, but it can get cooler in the evenings, so it is advisable to wear layers or a light jacket for the evening. Rain is less frequent at this time of year, but showers can still occur occasionally, so it's a good idea to pack an umbrella just in case.

For the most accurate information, it is advisable to check a reliable weather forecast closer to the date of your visit, as weather conditions can change from year to year. For example, we recommend the Windy app.
